Unite as One, Stride with Spirit —— The First Tug-of-War Competition of Yatu Technology Trade Union Concluded Successfully

To enrich employees' spare-time cultural life and strengthen team cohesion and collective honor, the first tug-of-war competition of the trade union of Yatu Technology (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. was grandly held on the main road at the company’s logistics gate from April 23 to 24. A total of 64 participants from 8 teams, including the Technology Department, Safety & Environment Department, General Administration Group, Equipment Department, Warehouse, Workshop Ⅰ, Workshop Ⅱ and Workshop Ⅲ, competed against each other. With strength and teamwork, they fully demonstrated the united and enterprising spirit of all Yatu staff.

In the lead-up to the competition, the company’s trade union made meticulous preparations and conducted extensive mobilization. Participants were selected through a public draw to ensure the event was fair, just and open. On the field, at the referee’s signal, the players gripped the rope tightly, lowered their center of gravity, and pulled backward as one. Shouts, cheers and applause rose and fell across the venue. Every deadlock and every surge forward reflected the team’s tacit understanding and fighting spirit; every flushed face and every clenched hand embodied the profound truth that “Unity is strength”.

This competition adopted a knockout system by drawing lots. After three rounds and eight intense matches, the champion, runner-up and third-place winner were finally decided. On the field, all participants strictly abided by the rules and competed in a civilized manner, fully embodying the spirit of "friendship first, competition second". The referee team delivered impartial judgments and careful supervision, while all staff performed their respective duties and provided orderly support, ensuring the entire event proceeded in an intense, well-organized manner with numerous highlights.

After the competition, company leaders presented awards and prizes to the winning teams.The champion team, Workshop 3, was awarded Philips shavers and customized trade union water cups.The runner-up, the Technology Department, received Xiaomi earphones and customized trade union water cups.The third-place team, Workshop 1, won a Grace towel gift set and customized trade union water cups.All participants and on-site staff were presented with commemorative gifts. Warm applause filled the scene, creating a pleasant and heartwarming atmosphere.
